Knowledge Factory obtains a variety of different data sets from numerous different sources and integrates these data sets into a single cohesive framework. This methodology allows numerous disparate datasets to be analysed and interrogated on a "like for like" basis, i.e. the disparate data sets all have a common base to make their analysis more relevant and accurate.
Knowledge Factory's data sets have been developed to provide insights into the property, market and marketing related fields and are currently being utilised by numerous different companies in numerous different industries. The datasets have been developed to provide valuable insights both on a stand-alone basis and when used to enhance and enrich clients' existing customer, channel and market information.
Knowledge Factory has also developed proprietary tools to facilitate the analysis and interrogation of the data sets, namely the KFPortal, GeoPlus, Sample Selector, Trade Area Modeler, MediaPlanner and SAPTG. GeoPlus provides the platform to link the data contained in the Knowledge Factory data sets to clients' information records, thereby enhancing and enriching clients' data with relevant external information. Trade Area Modeler allows for the accurate and efficient identification and analysis of an outlet's trade area at varying levels of geography. SAPTG channels property related insights to property professionals over the internet.
In addition to the proprietary tools detailed above, Knowledge Factory utilises SAS, GIS software, Microsoft SQL Server and several other spatial, statistical and analytical tools, depending on which is most appropriate for the project being performed.
